Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has confirmed it will launch a Mirage facelift. There will be two versions at once to be launched by Mitsubishi, the Mirage hatchback and the Mirage sedan, or better known as Attrage. Both are known to come with a distinctive Mitsubishi design language called dynamic shield. So do not be surprised if the front view of both of them looks like Xpander.
Launching from the official website of the MMC, the Mitsubishi Mirage facelift will launch in Thailand on November 18, 2019. MMC is still closing the information tap regarding the full specifications of the Mitsubishi Mirage facelift. As an illustration, Mitsubishi only revealed that the two urban cars adopted a sharper exterior design, and were dynamic according to the company’s design identity.
Most likely the Mitsubishi Mirage facelift still holds the same engine as the previous model. Classed as an environmentally friendly car in Thailand, Mirage is powered by a 1.2 liter three-cylinder engine. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual and automatic CVT transmission. In accordance with applicable regulations in Thailand, cars that are classified as environmentally friendly may not emit more than 100 grams per kilometer. While the average fuel consumption is at least 23.25 kilometers per liter.
The Mitsubishi Mirage facelift for the Thai market has been produced locally at the Laem Chabang Plant of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand. Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage are global models of MMC. Total sales have reached 140 thousand in fiscal 2018.
