Present by bringing some Supra to SEMA 2019, Toyota presents a variety of variants of the flagship unit. Having previously discussed about other Supra such as Supra GT4 and Supra HypeBoost, now it’s the Toyota GR Supra 3000GT Concept’s turn.
Toyota GR Supra 3000GT Concept is a form of tribute that took inspiration from the Toyota Supra TRD3000GT which was released in 1994. Supra TRD3000GT was born in 1994 as a form of celebration of Toyota’s victory at the JGTC Racing event using Supra Mk4. That’s why he hopes that with the Supra 2020 model created by a team from the Toyota Customizing & Development division, the GR Supra 3000GT is able to capture that classic spirit.
Surprisingly enough, there were Indonesian people who helped to realize this version of Supra, the person named Heru Adi Nugroho. Reporting from caranddriver.com, under the direction of Heru Adi Nugroho 3000GT Supra was created.
Toyota GR Supra 3000GT comes with a more aggressive body than some other Supra versions. the most eye-catching feature is the rear spoiler, the big spoiler is allegedly has a circular shape resembling the spoiler in its predecessor. The triangle shaped ventilation holes in the hood are also similar to the 1994 Supra. Other additions to the body include a front splitter and rear diffuser made from carbon fiber, side skirts and several new side panels.
Other devices that have also been replaced include, such as the exhaust system that has used HKS output products, Brembo brakes have also been installed. And racing seats from Bride also helped decorate the steering cabin.
This car has a silver brush metal motif with a slight touch of gold accents applied to the body through vinyl wrap.
For the engine, unfortunately it still uses a standard engine that is powered by 335HP. This might be understandable considering that this version is still in the frill of the word “Concept”, but if so, it also doesn’t matter.
